POSITION DETAILS



- Title : Youth Pastor

- Reporting to : Lead Pastor

- Oversees : Youth Ministry Team


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Spiritual Leadership: Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to the youth, nurturing their faith and personal development.

2. Weekly Gatherings Leadership: Oversee and lead weekly youth gatherings, fostering worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

3. Monthly Event Management: Direct and manage a special event each month to enrich the youth community experience.

4. Annual Camp Coordination: Organize youth attendance at an annual external camp, handling all aspects from registration to onsite support.

5. Quarterly Service Project Coordination: Organize and execute quarterly service projects, engaging youth in community service and outreach.


SECONDARY TASKS

1. Leadership Development: Enlist, equip, and empower youth leaders within the community, providing training and support for their roles.

2. Volunteer Recruitment: Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist with youth ministry programs and events.

3. Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of youth participants by implementing appropriate policies, procedures, and best practices.

4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other church ministries and departments to integrate youth activities into the overall church mission and vision.

5. Communication: Maintain open communication channels with parents, guardians, and church leadership to keep them informed about youth ministry activities and initiatives.

6. Personal Development: Pursue ongoing personal and professional development to enhance effectiveness in youth ministry leadership.


QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

- Previous Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience or equivalent life experience.

- Personal Attributes: A passionate, positive, and kingdom-minded individual with a love for Jesus and people. Demonstrates initiative, service, accuracy, and a team-oriented approach. Exhibits a low-drama, high-momentum, and high-capacity attitude with creativity and a can-do spirit. Must be an overcomer with the ability to adapt and work flexibly, often going above and beyond expectations.

- Specific Skills: High-level networking/relational strengths, the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and time-management skills. Management experience and proficiency in social media management are considered advantageous.


COMPENSTAION & SCHEDULE

- Compensation Rate: [To be specified]

- Hours per Week: Approximately 12-20

- Sundays: 8:00 AM-12:30 PM

- Flexibility: Most tasks can be completed remotely on your own schedule.
